Jörg Rissiek, Vice President – Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management, Satair/Airbus Material and Supply Chain Services
Dr. rer. pol. Jörg Rissiek, is Vice President – Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management of Satair/Airbus Material and Supply Chain Services since 2014. He is based at the material integrator’s major services hub in Hamburg. Jörg is responsible for driving the strategic roadmap and the execution of the services innovation initiatives to become the global market leader in the aerospace material business over the full life cycle of all aircraft platforms. Currently, his special focus is on integrated mobility services, strategic collaborations as well as additive manufacturing/3D printing solutions.

In Airbus Group, Airbus, Deutsche Lufthansa AG and Lufthansa Technik, Jörg has worked in several management positions in services development, customer support and strategic purchasing. From 2011 to 2014, as Vice President in Corporate Development of the Airbus Group’s headquarters in Paris/Toulouse, Jörg has developed the Airbus Group’s services strategy. From 2006 to 2011, he was the Vice President of Material and Logistics Operations in Airbus Customer Services at Hamburg Airport, managing the interface to 300 Aircraft operators. He joined Airbus after working eight years at Lufthansa, as Director VIP & Government Aircraft Customer Support and Director Strategic Purchasing – Purchasing Processes/Supply Chain Management at Lufthansa Technik. Jörg negotiated major aircraft purchasing and leasing campaigns in Lufthansa Group’s aircraft asset management organization.
