Organic chemist Dr. Gernot T. Dambacher started his career in Germany in technical roles spanning R&D, Production, and Applied Technology, before moving into commercial positions in Marketing and Sales at Evonik AG, a global player in specialty chemicals. He went on to assume Business Development, General Management, and Consulting responsibilities in China and the United States, where he sharpened his focus on Pricing. He progressed from Pricing business coach to team leader and then department head in Marketing & Sales Excellence, ultimately owning and driving the company’s global Pricing transformation. Following his work in Pricing & Strategy at Röhm GmbH, he joined Döhler SE – a globally leading manufacturer of food and beverage ingredients – as Global Head of Pricing, combining operational Pricing with tools & systems. He recently celebrated his 20th year in Pricing.
