Global Head of Service and Aftersales | Tecan
Petra Popp is Global Head of Service & Aftersales and Member of the extended Management Board at Tecan, a global leader in laboratory automation and trusted partner for life science, clinical diagnostics and medical devices industry with 1 billion CHF sales and 3.000 employees.
In her current role, she is responsible for service at Tecan, both for the life science as well as for the partnering business. Petra’s mission is to make Service and Aftersales a core competence and strategic differentiator of Tecan.
Her area of responsibility comprises all offerings of the service portfolio including IOT and predictive services. For her team, service digitalization is an integral part of all service concepts and serviceability of products. Driving optimized and digitalized global service delivery processes as well as establishing knowledge management, training and 2nd level support to exceed customer expectations complete the areas Petra is responsible for.
Petra has held several global leadership positions in marketing, sales and service at Carl Zeiss, including Global Head of Service Carl Zeiss Meditec AG and Managing Director of Carl Zeiss Meditec Germany.
Prior to this, she had a career at Siemens healthcare in Sales and Product Management.
She serves on the board of Universitätsklinikum Ulm.
Petra earned an MBA from Bayreuth University, Germany and École de Commerce Nantes, France.
